Confidence in your abilities:
If there is one thing I could write in the late of night is know your gifts and talents and skills. Learn what you like. Learn what you don’t. I recently watched Runaway Bride with a friend. There was a scene where Julia Roberts was trying every kind of egg because she had camouflaged her likings to her partners. In the scene with Richard Gere, she sneaks into his apartment and comes back after running away, she proceeds to say Eggs Benedict, those are the kind of eggs I like.
For a long time that was me. I didn’t even know what my favorite color was. It’s green. I love the quote by Dr.Seuss (or whom the credit is due as there is much debate) that goes, “Those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” I believe there is some truth in that.
Trust in the God given talents He has given you. What are you good at? What wakes you up in the morning? What do you do for sheer pleasure? Trust in your abilities- if you are awesome at making cupcakes be great. If it’s Scuba diving keep going. Share your abilities; share your truth know yourself.
Friend walk confidently in your abilities. You have been given these talents for a reason don’t hide them!
